Artist In Resident Bridget Fairbank considers flora, wild and domestic, as a living witness to intimate life. Inspired by West Coast spring flora, Bridget Fairbank has created “SPRUNG: Feel the Possible” at the James Black Gallery in Vancouver BC.

 

Her ceramic installation, performance and paintings ask viewers to engage bodily in an idea. Her art is plant-like, vibrant and plentiful- a reminder that we are not apart from nature. These pieces are conduits through which you may feel that growth is possible.
